About Kenya Evans-Pinckney
Kenya Evans-Pinckney is a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges high-achieving women face, especially those navigating imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and the pressures that come with success. Having worked in executive and management roles at some of the largest non-profits in New York City, Kenya is intimately familiar with the demands of leadership and the personal toll it can take. As a Black woman in these high-level positions, she has firsthand experience with the intersection of professional achievement and the weight of societal expectations, making her uniquely positioned to help other women overcome these barriers.
Kenya's therapeutic approach integrates Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Informed Care, and the Sanctuary Model. She specializes in working with adults, seniors, and women of color, focusing on anxiety, stress management, depression, trauma, family issues, relationships, and cultural or ethnic challenges. Kenya is particularly passionate about supporting high-achieving women who feel overwhelmed by the expectations placed on them and who struggle with perfectionism or self-doubt.

Education & Experience
Kenya holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York. Her professional experience spans work with adults and seniors, where she has addressed a wide range of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and family dynamics. Having held leadership positions in non-profit organizations, Kenya brings a unique perspective to her therapeutic work, particularly in helping women in high-pressure careers find balance and healing.
